This pair illustrates the conscientious observer as capable of bringing light and order to disorder through the creative act, to search for truth through open, honest communication, and to sacrifice the here and now for a brighter, more abundant future.
The attentive hero renders irrelevant those Satanic agents of chaos (666 dice) who’s logical conclusion only leads to self-destruction (snake eating itself) and malevolent infliction of pain on others, be they innocent or deserving. We see pictured the rebellion of the ant swarm as some try to escape Red Hell towards consciousness (sun); others will try to keep them there.
The key is to pull the multicultural wool away from our own eyes and pay attention.
